Project Description

SUP – Standup paddleboard

In the 50’s, when surfing became the sport of Hawaii, instructors would hop on a giant board and grab a paddle, so they could photograph their groups out on the water. In 2002 Svein Rassmussen from Arendal and his company Starboard reinvented these boards, and stand up paddling (SUP) quickly became a popular sport.
